April 8th will be the third annual bare your feet for TOMS Shoes day!

The “One Day Without Shoes” campaign asks everyone worldwide to go barefoot in an effort to draw attention to the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life.

Blake Mycoskie, founder of  TOMS Shoes says, “A shoe company asking people to go barefoot? I know it’s odd, but we are so excited for people to once again join us in One Day Without Shoes. We ask people to go the day, part of the day, or even just a few minutes, barefoot, to experience what millions of children endure every day. Awareness and empathy are the catalysts of change.”

Mycoskie created Toms Shoes after visiting Argentina in 2006 and found children wanting for shoes. His One for One program thru TOMS Shoes matches every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need.

TOMS Shoes has given hundreds of thousand of shoes to children. You can pledge your commitment to the third annual bare your feet for TOMS shoes day at www.OneDayWithoutShoes.com .
