Save Pennies By Bringing Your Own Reusable Shopping Bags to the Grocery Store

Did you know you could save pennies by bringing your own reusable shopping bags to the grocery store? It’s true! Many stores will pay you to use your own bag.

I’ve shopped my local BILO for years and never knew this until another shopper gave me the scoop. Sure enough, when I checked with customer service, I was told they pay 3 cents for every bag .  I’ve since found stores that are paying 5 cents.

Now, I bring my own reusable bags every time I shop. It’s something I should have been doing all along but knowing  I can save pennies and help save the environment  is just the extra incentive I needed.

I have also started to notice the wide variety of reusable shopping bags popping up all over the stores. Lots of people are now using their own personalized bags and I’ve spotted a lot of  personal handheld shopping baskets  too. I’m thinking the baskets would be great for quick trips to the store and the stylish bags for the bigger trips.

Be sure to check with your favorite stores to see what their policy is regarding bags and then stock up on them. Just think, you too could save pennies by bringing your own reusable shopping bag to the grocery store!

Does Weight Watchers Work Without Exercising? PointsPlus Is Making It Happen For Me!

Are you curious if Weight Watchers works without exercising? Well, the new PointsPlus program is making it happen for me and it’s thrilling!

This morning I tried on some corduroy slacks  I had “outgrown” and they fit!! Now you know there is no better feeling than slipping into a pair of pants that you thought you would never be able to wear again!  I’ve been on cloud nine since.

At my last Weight Watchers meeting, I had a .4 pound loss which may not sound like much but the truth is, the PointsPlus program is working for me. Losing weight from this body was impossible for me until I joined Weight Watchers. Now I’m losing without exercising and I feel great. The plan is so healthy and filling. You never go hungry and your menu has hundreds of options.

In fact, this evening I’m having creamy clam chowder , baked chicken with panko breading, sweet potato topped with Greek yogurt and roasted Brussels sprouts.  Fruits have 0 points so I’ll have a piece of cantaloupe for my dessert and probably some popcorn if I get a chance to tune in a movie! Sounds good right?

Like everyone else, I have made a New Years resolution to start exercising. When I start, I expect the pounds to come off even faster. People following the Weight Watchers plan can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week.

So in answer to your question, “Does Weight Watchers work without exercising?”, definitely yes! PointsPlus is making it happen for me so it can happen for anyone!
