Carrie Underwood’s Puffy Big Red Dress and the ACM Awards

Carrie Underwood made jaws drop when she performed tonight at the American Country Music Awards show in a puffy, big red dress. I’m sure the dress had some sort of statement to make but I’m not sure what it was. The dress was made from yards and yards of material.
I can’t remember what Carrie sang. Her puffy, big red dress had my complete attention. How did she ever get on stage with all that material (the train swept all the way back to the curtains) and how would she get off the stage?
Surely the designer Rafael Cennamo had a plan for that.
The unique red dress did bring Carrie luck. Shortly after her performance she won female vocalist of the year and entertainer of the year.
I watched the video again to remember the song. It was “I Told You So” written and originally recorded by Randy Travis.

I sort of think the back looked like a large pile of innards, but other than that…gorgeous.
