argenSolange Magnano, 1994 Miss Argentina,  is dead following cosmetic buttock surgery.

The 38 year old model died Sunday reportedly due to complications from a gluteoplasty procedure she received at a plastic surgery clinic in Buenos
Aires. The procedure involves inserting implants into the buttocks to make them firmer and fuller.

Magnano was rushed to a hospital from the private clinic with a pulmonary embolism which is a blood clot that blocks the blood flow to the lungs. She was in critical condition for 3 days before dying.

Her friend and fashion designer, Roberto Piazzo, told the Daily Mail that Magnano had her breasts lifted and sought out the gluteoplasty in order to remove cellulite and firm up her buttocks.

He is quoted as saying, “She died because of her obsession with beauty.”

The former beauty queen leaves behind eight year old twin daughters and a husband.

Due to lower prices caused by the recession, not only is cosmetic buttock surgery booming in Venezuela but all plastic surgery.
