Granny Accused of Feeding Blood Thinner to Her 1 Year Old Granddaughter

The Granny accused of feeding blood thinner to her 1 year old granddaughter was released on bond Friday.

According to Jefferson City, Missouri police, 41 year old Terri Chilton  allegedly fed her granddaughter blood thinner on Jan. 12, causing the girl to bleed uncontrollably from her mouth, nose and two minor cuts. Although the child survived, it is not yet known if there was long-term organ damage.

The woman was charged with one count of first-degree child endangerment.

The Granny accused of feeding blood thinner to her 1 year old granddaughter was hoping the child’s divorcing parents would get back together if they had a sick child.
