He Pingping, world record holding tiniest man, is dead at 21 from heart complications.

Mr. He, who was only 29 inches tall, was in Rome when he suffered chest pains and was taken to a hospital. He passed away Saturday.

The tiny man was born in the northern Chinese region of Inner Mongolia. He had a form of primordial dwarfism.

Guinness World Records recognized him as the world’s smallest man in 2008.

Guinness World Records said it would announce in due time the successor of He Pingping, the world record holding tiniest man.
