La Toya says her brother, Michael Jackson, was murdered.
MSNBC is reporting La Toya Jackson told the British tabloid, The News of the World, that her brother, Michael, was murdered for his $1 billion fortune.
She supposedly told the newspaper Saturday night, “I know who did it and I won’t rest until I nail them.”
The paper reports 53 year old La Toya said, “Michael was murdered and we don’t think just one person was involved. Rather, it was a conspiracy of people. I feel it was all about money. Michael was worth well over a billion in music publishing assets and somebody killed him for that. He was worth more dead than alive.”
“He had many needle marks on his neck and on his arms, and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks. But nothing has changed my mind that this was murder and I won’t give up until I find out what killed my brother.”
“A couple of years ago Michael told me he was worried that people were out to get him. He said, “They’re gonna kill me for my publishing. They want my catalogues and they’re gonna kill me for these.”
“I knew something terrible was going to happen,” she allegedly said.
La Toya reportedly went on to say that oxygen flasks and empty pill bottles were strewn around the room where her brother died.
Reportedly, she said she believed items were stolen from him.
“Michael always had cash in his homes, usually around $2 million which he used to pay out on things People said he wasn’t wealthy, but Michael always had money on him.”
“When I went to the house later that day there was no cash or jewelry. So many people had been through that house before I got there. Someone went in there and did a good job. It was very strange,” she said according to the News of the World report.

The legal clarification on ownership of the suppressed gems in MJ’s song vault will be the only hold up before new Michael Jackson music is heard.
There are reports that Michael Jackson had a vast amount of unreleased music that his fans will be able to enjoy for years to come.
Sony Music owns the distribution rights to Jackson’s music and Tommy Mottola, Sony CEO from 1998 to 2003 said, “There are dozens and dozens of songs that did not end up on his albums. People will be hearing a lot of that unreleased material for the first time ever. There’s just some genius and brilliance in there.”
Mottola added the releases “could go on for years and years–even more than Elvis.”
Some of the vault material includes unused tracks from Michael’s previous bestselling albums and newer recordings of songs with R&B singer Akron and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.
Since Michael Jackson’s death, his music has been in unprecedented demand. Nielsen SoundScan said Wednesday that three of his records ,”Number Ones”, “Essential Michael Jackson” and “Thriller” were the best selling albums of the week and 2.3 million tracks of his have been downloaded in the U.S. alone.
The King of Pop may be gone but thankfully his music will live on for a long, long time. Watch MSNBC video of Jackson’s Rehearsal Video clip less than 48 hours before his death-
